How to Merge Two or More Donor Accounts

Step One: Search for the donor under the Donor tab. Then click to highlight their name and click on Merge Donors.

 

Step Two: The first highlighted name will already be added to the “Donors to Merge” box. To add the other accounts, click to highlight their name and then click on Add.

 

Once you click on Add you will see their names added to the “Donors to Merge” box. A good way to confirm that all the accounts are for the same donor is to compare their address to make sure they match. Once you have added all the accounts you wish to merge, click Continue.

 

 

Step Three: Click to highlight the username the donor wishes to keep. Then click on Merge. Please note, that once the accounts have been merged, they cannot be unmerged!

 

 

You will then get a message letting you know the donors have been merged.

 

Now when you search for the donor under the Donor tab, only the merged account will appear.
