If a donor has never donated you can delete their account. Search for their name under the Donor tab and then click to highlight their name. You will be able to see at a glance if they have donated by looking at the Total Giving column. If their total giving is $0.00 you can click on Delete.
If the donor has donated you cannot delete their account for audit purposes. Instead, you can inactivate their account by clicking on Edit.
On the next page use the drop down box next to status and change their status to Inactive. Save your changes at the bottom of the page.
After you inactivate the donor, we would encourage you to delete all their payment accounts. Click on Account Information from the left-hand side menu. Next click to highlight their payment account and then click on Delete.
